If you shall have any personal concerns or questions regarding the changes being made to the studio and to Dr Jenna’s practice, please get in touch with her by email, phone or text. Dr Jenna will make it her duty to ensure that everyone is safe, comfortable and at ease for the duration of their visit with her.
1. Have you had any close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness or traveled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
2. Have you had a confirmed case of COVID-19 or had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, without wearing appropriate PPE?
3. Do you have any of the following symptoms: fever, new onset of cough, worsening chronic cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell, chills, headaches, unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias), nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, pink eye (conjunctivitis), runny nose/nasal congestion without other known cause?
4. If you are 70 years of age or older, are you experiencing any of the following symptoms: delirium, unexplained or increased number of falls, acute functional decline, or worsening of chronic conditions?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you are advised to: not attend in person at the Modo Yoga studio for at least 14 days; get tested for COVID-19; complete the Ontario Government’s self-assessment; and contact an appropriate authority such as your family physician, local medical officer of health or Telehealth Ontario.
Due to the open-concept treatment space of the studio, special considerations to accommodate appropriate physical distancing will be managed. There will only be ONE patient in the studio at a time, with significant amount of time between appointments so that cleaning and disinfecting the tables and reception area will be complete before the next appointment. PLEASE NOTE: All cleaning products used are non-toxic and use natural ingredients to disinfect all surface areas appropriately.
Patients are required to wear a face mask in the studio when social distancing of 2 metres or more cannot be maintained. You are able to bring your own face mask for comfort, however, if you do not have one, a surgical mask will be provided to you. That said, while lying face down on the chiropractic table, you are NOT required to wear a mask during your treatment time. Upon entering the studio, hand sanitizer will also be available for patients to use before and after treatment.
Entrance to the studio will ONLY be through the door to the Shiva Room. Please be aware that there is NO ACCESS beyond the Shiva Room. The washrooms are not open at this time, so please be sure to “take care of business” before your appointment time. Once your treatment has concluded, please do not linger in the studio as cleaning and disinfecting will need to take place before the next patient is due for their appointment. Payment is appreciated by email transfer, however, if cash or cheque are the only option, they are still happily accepted.
